 The
Cougar hunts largely at night and will travel long
distances in pursuit of game. Its main prey are deer and
elk. The Cougar stalks its prey, then leaps upon the
animal. Cougars are normally timid toward people,
although it has been known to harm and even kill people
in isolated incidents. They are found in western Canada
and some parts of the United States.
